Professional Caregiving

Dr. Dia Lynn offers in-home personalized care with therapeutic modalities and customized activities for elderly, mildly disabled or memory loss persons. Dia is an Independent Contractor serving the Roaring Fork Valley of Western Colorado.

Dr. Dia Lynn

Dr. Dia Lynn draws from her years of experience as a body worker, holistic therapist, anatomy teacher, and minister giving spiritual counsel when engaged in personally taking care of someone in need. She brings great compassion and understanding to the client and the family, offering support in whatever way is most needed at the time. Dia is mature, confident and physically capable of dealing with issues that emerge when someone is temporarily disabled or in cognitive decline. She conducts her business with confidentiality, professionalism and respect.

Additional training through Alzheimer’s Association enables her to respond to the needs of persons with dementia, and in some cases provide cognitive stimulation, socialization and nutritional support to sustain a higher quality of life for as long as possible. She works well with other caregivers and agencies, but prefers to contract privately with families by way of referral.

Some of the services offered include:

  • Cognitive stimulation
  • Art and music therapy
  • Gentle movement
  • Social engagement
  • Caregiver respite
  • Transportation
